I could see it being a PS4 exclusive for nostalgic reasons. Though money's money. So if they can milk it out by branching to other consoles then why not?

Whatever the case, this remake looks promising and I look foward to playing it. Eventually...

I doubt it will be a PS4 exclusive. It has a high chance of coming to PC gamers. Square wants this game to be huge, so selling it to PC gamers is going to bring in more sales.

Well its confirmed Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy XV are going to PS4 and Xbone, and it was specified that FF7 Remake "will hit PS4 FIRST". So its definitely multi-platform and its within reason to say Xbone will receive it. I honestly dont see PC getting it

Watching the trailer for the remake got me all hyped up for it. It's a good thing I have a PS4 now.

I honestly watch the FF7 Remake PS4 Experience trailer pretty often. Every time I watch it, I get pretty damn hyped for the game. I just wish I had a PS4 to play the game...

After the hundred thousand spin-offs and KH2+'s on every platform ever, I grew tired of Kingdom Hearts...

This is why I stuck with 1, 2 and CoM. There's too much happening plotwise and it goes all over the place. Plus, NONE of it was needed. Could've just made the series a trilogy and leave it at that, buuuuut no.

Well, if that CASH MONEY keeps piling in, That equals more kingdom hearts.

My one wish is being able to play as Sephiroth, Balanced or op, For only one level or an entire separate story, He takes over the world or Ships with Tifa (Been reading too much fanfiction. Or at the very least, make the VERY LAST battle against Sephiroth Actually be a challenge instead of a HYPER HYPER easy Boss battle that makes Bob the Goldfish and The Electricutnor (Spelled it wrong) look tame (Though to be fair, It was supposed to be a cutscene). And I know that ABsoultuly anything can kill Sephiroth.

Man I don't even play Final fantasy or Kingdom Hearts, but Still, between Ehirgiez being rare to find, The first 2 Dissada games being on PSP, and the Third Dissda only being in Arcades, with a big chance to be on ps4, but So little chance on Xbox, And

I think I rambled long enough, I'm out

I understand. I only played 1,2, Chain of Memories and Birth By Sleep. I'll play the rest (or which ever ones they include) in the HD remasters they're releasing, I just dont like handheld games really. I love Kingdom Hearts so I'll play every entry right before KH3 releases lol.

I never played a Kingdom Hearts game prior to Dream Drop Distance but unfortunately, I have no interest in playing another game in the series anytime soon.

wat

this dude has reimagined grammar. "Ships" is a word now. Remember to capitalize it!

I mean
there's that one level where Sephiroth is in your party, does that count?

And the final battle is obligatory. You just fought something really hard, why throw something else at you? Personally I prefer the cinematic final battle - or maybe it's not cinematic - maybe Sephiroth is really weak to Omnislash? He died in one hit to it in Advent Children too...

^ If you get him offstage, blade beam and nair are bae
Try to stay on the edge and keep him out with nairs
Platform camp if you can
Juggle him, his tools against juggles are nonexistent
If he recovers low (like any good Mac should do) you can use dair's disjoint to spike him
Try to stay in Limit if you're above 45% - the extra weight will help live his smashes, and you need Limit to recover because otherwise he can just dsmash and kill you
Don't be scared of KO Punch. Don't respect it (obviously don't do really punishable stuff) but don't run away and be endlessly scared of it

Well with KO punch, as long as you can get a good hit on Mac the bar resets. Any hit that sends him in the air is fine, really.

A lot of times I prefer to use my Link vs Lil Mac simply because as soon as KO punch is active I can just throw a barrage of bombs to reset it.

The KO meter resets when a certain damage threshold is met, so any attack would suffice, in the air or otherwise.

All of the characters I use have a projectile and I just use those to reset the bar.

He loses the punch if hes put into tumble state 6 seconds or more after he gets the punch. He can't lose it otherwise, or during those 6 seconds

Darn, I forgot to mention that. I also thought there was some sort of damage threshold for some reason since I swear I've seen Mac hold onto it for longer than 6 seconds on multiple occasions, but yeah, Mac does lose it after 6 seconds in a tumble.

Fighting little mac?

Stay as R-Cloud more than L-Cloud imo.

Makes it easier to wrack up damage and punish mac due to free usage of BB and CS in neutral. I also dont suggest holding on to limit for too long. I think its more important to build damage to make it easy for you to send him off stage. Cloud doesnt have a lot of multi hit moves to deal with Mac's Super Armor so minimizing direct interactions reduce your chances of getting Mac'd on.

Dont approach, make him approach, and punish that approach.

Platform camp, and camp the air as well. Challenging mac on the ground should generally only be done by L-Cloud.

This is probably a MU where Uthrow should be used over Dthrow when you're mid stage as well lol.

Cloud loves Mac in the air.

tl;dr
When fighting against him, Neutral B is your friend.
Just don't be too predictable with it. :p

Mac might not have an answer for BB, but than doesn't mean the Mac player can't time dodges or shield predictable attacks.

I guess it goes both ways. I was thinking if you save Limit you have more it for that time when Mac is offstage/any time when he's in a disadvantage state, because taking advantage of that is crucial so you want all the options you can for that imo. Also there's the issue with edgegaurding, one low-hitting dsmash from Mac and we're gone, so we want the option to quickly sweetspot or recover high, etc. Also I'm not understanding what you're saying about super armor. It doesn't matter how many hits you take, you still armor through them.

mario123007 mario123007 BB may not be the best idea actually, it's very laggy, and while it's size does force Mac to jump/roll past it, we can't punish him if he rolls and it doesn't really make him approach. His speed also makes it easier to punish us if we mess up or he's able to powershield it from a run.

I agree. BB is really a situational option with Mac. You can still connect at least one or two beams on him, but for the most part it's best to simply wait and punish him. Nair is something that can be used to keep Mac back though, but it's not the most effective method, I think.

Nair may actually be our best anti-mac tool in general. In neutral though, we probably want to mix in some bairs as well. Nair is really good offstage, when juggling, and in neutral against Mac. It's hard for him to deal with the huge sword we have, his only reall option is to smash through it.

True. I know Nair is amazing against Mac offstage and overall, I just simply think Nair isn't our best option dealing with Mac when he approaches. It's a great option, just not our best option imo.

Sorry, should've clarified.

What do you think is our best option then?

Should Mac even be approaching us?
I was wrong (again. Man I've been doing that a bit lately.), Nair IS our best tool.

And yes, Mac has to approach.
Wow. I forgot completely about that lmao im ********
Don't worry, we all have our moments. Hell, I screwed up on the Pika MU earlier. Haha.

I'd just like to ask what BB, CS, L-Cloud and R-Cloud mean so I can understand this advice.
Blade Beam, Cross Slash, Limit Break Cloud and Regular Cloud respectively.

Edit: Dang, :4greninja:'d.

BB - Blade Beam (neutral b)
CS - Cross Slash (side b)
L-Cloud - Cloud in Limit Break mode, with increased weight, fallspeed, and dash speed.
R-Cloud - Vanilla Cloud
LB - Limit Break e.g. LB CS = Limit Break Cross Slash

Damn... double :4greninja:'d :4greninja:'d
lol
