I may be a little late to the party, but I think WT is really not that bad... Usually I'm able to predict it (along with almost everything else Bayo does lmao). CS is so **** annoying though. I don't have a problem with the knockback; it's just the fact that it happens to be slapped onto a vertical counter. That's so ridiculously unbalanced.

On paper it sounds bad and in practice it's even worse. I don't know how the devs didn't notice that from the start.

The knockback is the same as Roy's counter lmao (which is admittedly pretty strong)

Counter Surge is NOT broken. If you take Roy's counter and hit it with a fully charged Bowser fsmash, you'll get the same result. I didn't see anybody complaining about Roy's counter. Even the b*tching about Vision has stopped at this point (Power Vision is a bit much tho). The real complaints about Counter Surge should come from it killing during juggles, but tbh if you don't recognize and bait out a threat like that, you deserve to die lol.

Depends on whether or not I'm working too hard. I mean I work my ass off every night but I don't want to push myself to the point that I'll end up stressing myself. I work at a warehouse where I mostly drive a forklift or a electric pallet truck.

By less effect, do you mean less time in the effect? I guess that's good but at the same time, Witch Time racks up damage fast too.

Yeah the slow down duration is reduced the more often it's been used within a certain time period.

GHNeko Sure, but does that make it broken or overpowered? Sure, it has some improvements over other counters, but is it broken? I don't think so. It's much less effective at gimping the recoveries of chars like Ike and Cloud, and it doesn't kill nearly as well near the side blastzones, and it's much less effective at edgegaurding in general (these all sound like pretty much the same thing, but you get the idea lol)

At the point that counter's become good edgeguarding tools, CS generally starts becoming a kill option.

Speaking of tourneys I'm going to one on Sunday as well as a fairly large one in San Francisco. Wasn't able to go to the previous one due to wisdom teeth surgery and it sucked because they had like 150+ entrants at that time.

Honestly when it comes to Super Robot Anime I am a big fan of the vintage stuff.

Mazinger Z is fantastic (Great Mazinger is ok too), Getter Robo is an eternal classic, I love me some GaoGaiGar too (it's old enough at this point to be considered vintage.)

My personal favorite of all time however is G Gundam by far. I recommend it to everyone, at worst it's hilarious and at best you'll love it like I do.

G Gundam is also one of the only few animes where the dub and sub are basically equal. If you haven't seen G Gundam you haven't seen the truth.

There is a difference.

TTGL will get you hype and excited, but hot blooded anime like g Gundam and ggg (notice how they start with G) will move your heart and soul and make you cry out of being overwhelmed with raw emotion. WITHOUT THE NEED OF AROUSING SADNESS.


TTGL got me excited plenty of times, but it never pushed me to well up with unfiltered emotion and power.

GGG aged amazing.

Yeah a lot of the content is reused, but that's fine because the reused content is filled with amazing music, blood rushing action, ****ing godlike seiyuus, and the most dramatic **** ever.

I've never been so excited to watch the same stock footage over and over.

Also aside from the stock footage, there is a lot of gooooood **** in the anime.
