After further speculation, I realized trying to pursuit Melee will place me in the same spot, spending hours doing tech stuff, only to lose to the same people over and over again. This means, I'll play smash (Melee/Brawl) to be able to **** incompetent noobs, but not care if I lose to a Baysian, and have sh**loads of fun with those in the middle.
