Once again, I will be holding a tournament at the Escape gaming center in Bedford, OH. (right outside of cleveland) on July 21st (weekend after FC).

ESCAPE Gaming Center
470 Northfield Rd.
Bedford, Ohio 44146

Phone #: 440.945.0213
E-mail: escape@escapeplay.net

Teams will be held first followed by singles. If there is enough people asking for crews/low tiers, we can do that also.

Teams: $30 per team
Singles: $15 per person

Double elimination for all tournaments. Standard MLG stages, rules, etc.

We had a great turnout last time, so this should be another great tournament for everyone to come out and enjoy!! Feel free to post/comment/question/PM me for more info!

I'll be there hopefully, need to check the two-a-day schedule for football, but should be good. How many people came to the last one?

lol cryb, if need be, i'll spot you, cuz I know you'll win it back again.

Last time we had 30 people total, so these are normally pretty large events.

This does sound legit. I'm definitely in. I can at least get two others, maybe a third. Crew battles anyone?

droly, FYI, the reason it took us so long to do teams is because you can't do a doubles tournament when 3 teams sign up. I'm sorry that it took that long for others to want to do doubles, but we have been up to it for some time.

I would love to do crews, but I need to make sure we have the number of people needed interested in doing it.

I suggest that everyone that can register does so. This is an easy way to earn free time for the gaming center and helps me out with planning of the setups, cubes, etc. So please be helpful people!!

Also, BlindEye, are we offering any free hours when people register this time around?

This will probably be the last time I will give those who register prior to the event one free hour for registering AND showing up for the tournament. if we contunie to have big turn outs registering will be the only way to partisapate in the tunrnament. I can only house so many people for a Tournament at persent.

Side note: if the growing turn outs continue, two things will happen I will get more tournament stations, second bigger payouts/prizes.

Stay tuned and Phasion11 has been doing a great job hosting the tunraments.

second bigger payouts/prizes.
The only way I see that happening is that you guys would make us pay even more to enter because I know the guy who takes the other 30% wouldn't want to take less money for himself.

I personally think that 15 dollars is kinda ridiculous, especially when these tournaments aren't that huge. You should drop entries to like 10 dollars or something. Most tournaments of our size charge people 10 dollars, and I think that covers the 30% the store gets decently with the turnouts these tournaments get.

If you still don't like that, think of it this way. Pretty much everybody who goes to these tournaments buys a drink and some candy or something at the front desk. You would practically be making up the money from dropping 5 dollars from the entry fee that way.

Regardless, I'll go to this either way.

Who wants to team with me?

1. 30% pays for elect, Rent, etc..
2. Right now payouts are based on turnouts. As of late 1st takes no less than $100.
3. If the tounaments get bigger prizes will be fixed cash ammounts or prizes. Like what you get at the regional tournaments but on a local sacle ($200+).

Either way prices for tournaments are fixes. If you feel we aren't fair, I am sorry you feel that way but you don't have to come.

Either way I wanna see people come and have fun, and see people who earn it win some good prizes. I think for the persent size we do well and hope to see it get better. Hoyt does an awesome job and with him hosting I see it getting better each time.

Where it all went wrong
$15 is the only way to go.

Anyway, Pittsburgh had a great time at Woo, so I'll talk it over with everybody about catching this. I find it very likely that some of us will attend.

Also, Big_R, if you come to this we can do that MM.

Btw, Phasion is the man purely because he plays UT.

good stuff guys, this looks to be another great tournament. Remember, register for this if you want IT IS FREE AND GUARANTEES YOU A SPOT. Simply put, these things keep growing and there are fire codes for the building, so Max I can allow in is 40 for now. This also helps out the venue in preparing for this (opening early, etc.)

BTW, great tourny Woo guys, I hope you can make this one too.

FYI when you all come this time the store will be setup different, during July 12th to the 14 we will be closed for a Lan party we attend, during this time we will be redisgning the interior of the store to better accomadate more people for tournaments and for our daily business. I hope you guys like it.

Is there anyone in Geauga county or near by that could possibly give me a ride? I'm having the transmission on my car fixed and I need a backup incase it's not repaired in time. But that is the worst case scenario, I may have it back before then.

Well Mowse, if Cryb wants to partner with me again, then you and 4% can go at it, but as far as I know, I am partnering with 4%. Cryb, if you could tell me what's up now, so that these guys can figure it out that would be great. Like I told you before, I want to team with you again, but if you got other plans just hollar at me about it.
