To start a match online, you need to press the L and R button at the same time to begin the match. We both have L/R buttons that do not work, therefor it would be impossible to start a match if we get paired up next round.

Neither of their trigger buttons work, and you need to press Left and Right trigger to start the match, so if he wins then they cant start a match so, a third person should host and start the game
