While Crossing up isn't the same as it is in other Fighters, you can argue that we can do it to shield poke after applying pressure. That's something that is much harder to achieve since shield's are hard to avoid and hit the small open piece of their character.

I treat smash just like a normal fighting game. The only difference is that I know that I can't apply the exact same things as I would to SF4 or something like that. Does this make me a bad player?
