1v1 Online?

Smash Bros Dojo states that you will have the option to do team battles or basic smash, but let's say you don't wanna play with three other people and wanna do some 1v1 tournament style? Now on the basic smash option, do you have the option to play only 1 other individual online?

I was wondering this too, but if it works like MP Hunters.... you'll probably run into more 1 on 1's than 4 players

You can do any rules with friends I think, and with a website like this there will be no problem finding people!

It appears that you can only do 4 player brawl with the "with anyone" option. What a bummer. Hopefully that'll change.

ya, but i think you can end up doing a 1 v 1 if the 45 seconds run out before anyone elso joins in

Hmm, if it's anything like Mario Kart DS, if you don't connect to the MAX 3 different people, you will start the game after a predetermined period of time with the players that got through connecting

True. Freinds or certain people on smashboards are all the people that I want to play against. If we are forced to play 4 players I hope we can have two freinds join in a team vs 2 others. I know that 2 v 2 is already possible but I want to be able to control who I'm with sometimes.

I hope that we will be able to do one vs ones, It seems so far you can only do it with Freinds.

Yeah it can only be done with friends so far from what I understand.

Another question I'm wondering about is how many rounds do you get to play with these people? Do you stay conncected untill everybody quits? Or do you switch people every game.

I hope they change or add something. but if they don't it shouldn't be that hard to find people here two 1v1 with.
