It depends...For example:
I watch a combo vid, see something I like, and immediately integrate it into my play style, then going back to my original style halfway through. = Mindgames = 7
Playing as Mewtwo =Mindgames (opponents laugh themselves to death) = 7
Playing against a Marth = 5/4/3/2 I hate Marth.

if we look at MOST tournament regulars these days, they are almost all level 6~8 according to the first post.

however, in brawl, we might see a mixture of all the levels going to tournaments. that should be fun.

Yeah that's true but Nintendo has not been doing a good job with Wi-Fi games. In many DS games, people began to use action replay for all sorts of cheats. I'm not saying people can/will use action replay for Brawl, I'm saying lower ranked people, or noobs, will think we are cheating with advanced techniques. They will think we enabled some "remove all lag from aerials" cheat or something. And so because of this, they will either complain to Nintendo or stop playing altogether though I may be wrong.

pretty sure that AR on wii will break your wii if you try to update it again heard this problem is going around so they may need to get a new type of Ar.

10 things about 10 things.

1) mindgames.
Only 1 of the 10 items says anything about mindgames, wtf!? All levels should have something about mindgames, it's obviously the most important step in improvement with smash. Technical skill? please. You could do it like 1) NEEDS ME R MINDGAMES, 3) Might have a chance to develop some mindgames 4) Think mindgames don't exist 5) get moore mindgames 6) get some moore mindgames 7) Has dem mindgames 8) if you ask them about mindgames, it's probably a mindgame 9) What?! 10) profit!

2) Technical skill
This is mostly to appease them peoples who think technical skill really matters. Say more about tech skill in each category, instead of just saying 'basic moves' or 'advanced techniques.' Say stuff like 5) Can almost do a SWD 6) SHL are nothing sometimes screws up RSHL 9) SWD? please SWD + daughter dashes = yes!

3) More numbers
Obviously this topic is about 10 items. But those 10 things should have 10 things, or at least moor numbers. All information can be broken down into numerical form. Why did we have to learn all those Dates in school? Cause they are freaking important, that's why. Who cares about who Columbus was, I just care about when he showed up in this GREEAT U S of A! woooooooo!

4) Experience and beating pros/being a pro
Ok this stuff is totally bogus. After years of discussion, we all know that the only 2 things that matter are Mindgames and technical skill. (And I say only mindgamezzz matter so there is really only 1 thing, but you have to appease the masses.) If you beat a pro or not, or win a tournament or not, that **** don't matter. It just means they don't have enough mindgames or haven't worked on ascending to the next Number in your list of 10. It is pointless to point that point out. Really

5) This list is too good
obviously we need to summarize how good a player is by a numerical value. And current ways of doing it were flawed and just the suck. Who cares if previous tries had color.
This one has numbers (!!) and this thing, ")". Too good.

6) No I really mean this list is too good
Sarcasm aside. It's great! It does a great job of quantifying every skill that a person could have related to smash and/or fighting games into a short and easy list. Really, who cares about In-depth game knowledge? It don't mean **** that M2k probably knows way too much about this game. Or the ability to know the mind of ones opponent? Or even appraisal, prediction, variation, speed/tempo, love of the game, dexterity, fortitude, will/drive, creativity, adaptation, mental strength, or any of those skills? They are obviously unimportant. And gladly removed from this WAY too good list.

7) I don't like the number Seven.
Seriously, that number gets on my nerves.

8) Improvement
This helps so much in this area. Other peoples posts like habits of a smash plays, meta-game, or the King's articles = too much words and ideas. I can't handle them. I need a list of 10. Plus now I know how to improve. Since I'm not beating the pro players around here, I am probably a 6 or 7. 6 is more likely. So all I need to do is get more mindgames! YES! REVELATION!

9) stuff
Yep there is stuff in that list.

10) Perfect control.
This category is also really important. It's like volume level 11 on my guitar amp. Sometimes you just need to turn it up a little more.

People and their smash abilities truly NEED to quantified in this amazing list.

(i've put thought into lists like these before and appreciate your thoughts. But I really think the topic is way more complicated than you are presenting. it's just that these lists are awful and I hate them. If you meet someone and they win the tournament, I don't need to be like "Woah your really 7.1 dude. That's awesome." Why not just say "Hey you're really good. Thanks for kicking all our *****. Would you play me another game?" )

*sighs* . I only read half of this when I said "screw it." It seems like you were just bored and wanted to type up a list of things in YOUR opinion only. Instead of giving negative rep (I said this three times in the past already), give better advice. This post only makes you seem more of a noob than ever. This thread is a simple place where people can place themselves according to levels. Yes in some rare cases these levels don't workout but heck, it's not possible to create a perfect list for everyone now is there?
