Mach tornado
Meta Knight's B move, mach tornado is a air hovering, comboing projectile canceling beauty!
Bashing the B button makes you go up into the air, the faster you press it the higher you go, it can even keep you in air
Mach tornado is pretty good at getting the smash ball and knocking the smash ball out of someone for its great comboing!
1 - when to use/not use mach tornado.
whats worth the tornado.
pikachu spamming thunder jolt?
thats worth a counter spam!
use it 1-3 times unless the pikachu still feels like spamming. The thunder jolt also has some noticable lag.
+Don't worry about any thunder retaliations, it lags at the start, a lot and you can get him before he uses it.
Dedede spamming waddle-dees?
worth a mach tornado my good friend.
+Its fun to watch Meta Knight tear up waddle-dees/doos
-Gordo might get you...
Is lucario firing uncharged spheres?
you can go over and spam your tornado without harm! unless your slow to get to him.
Dont try tornado against charged spheres.
They take to to charge though
Samuses charge shot
This is the same with Lucario's sphere and still takes time to charge
-she can go from that to a missile, so be sure your not too far away.
Lucario uses double team!
You can use tornado and get counter without damage, a good reason for mach tornado is that it also lasts long, so expect lucario to run into your tornado (lol)
when you should'nt use mach tornado.
link has a bomb in hand or is using bomb airs or his down air?
Just avoid these!!
+You can grab the bombs and link's down air has a lot of after lag.
samus missile spamming?
your better off countering by jumping above her and down/neutral airing her instead of using mach tornado *boom*
-You have a chance of being punished.
Zelda's using dins fire sir, what should we do?
Better of going to her and giving Fsmash, Dsmash, shuttle loop or Ftilt than spamming tornado.
+Her fire cant go back!
Kirby's final cutter projectile
completly goes through your mach tornado and hits you.
+You could go under kirby and attack him before he uses it, but you gotta go fast!
Mr game & watch wants to cook you up with his B move, chef!
Not much you can do here but its possible to go right past chef or even attack Mr.game and watch before he can use it.
-Random projectile that will probably go straight over you.
-This. Will. Edgeguard. You.
The more questionable
Link, Pit and Toon Link arrow spammers
This may depend on your opponent and the distance between you and your opponent.
+uncharged arrows won't hurt.
-Charged ones will, and charge faster than charge shots and spheres, they can also easily go into a shield or use a different attack.
+They still have more lag than you, so if your close enough, you can use the tornado with minimal or no harm.
If your against a metaknight, and he/she uses mach tornado, you can acctually use mach tornado too. I would also recommend just using your forward tilts, but the mach tornado lasts long but would be better to use above the other metaknight, you may want to use down air, however.
