Just the image of applying such a tech to something as simple as pressing B sounds funny to me. I normally associate it to more complex combos and mixups. I suppose it could work as a ledge trap, but something like an LK or an Up-B sounds like it would be better for a surprise move like that.

I think I already mentioned the utiltiy of FH Neutral B. You can still reflect things, but you have the added bonus of being able to beat out aerials, and it autocancels. Standing Neutral B has a ton of endlag, and you can just jump over it and punish it. Now, with IDJ, not only does the hitbox come out faster, but it has all the benefits of FH Neutral B and it ends even sooner, allowing you to do stuff like Nair or Fair/Bair before landing.

I wouldn't bother trying this out if it were pointless. Turns out, it does matter.

Yeah, it was just the contrast of the radically different perceptions of both moves that made me giggle.

I'll have to try all this out, but I've lost pretty much all will to continue playing again.
