What if the Oden the Scabbards saw in 1007 is one of Kanjuro's drawings. I see that being more likely the case than Oden actually still being alive.

Yeah that’s definitely what I think, Oden being alive wouldn’t make much sense narratively. I do think Toki is still alive though

also damn I hate kanjuro even more now. ryunosuke didn’t need to die...
