What happened?

Someone at my job training/independence program I go to on weekdays got Covid. Considering I have major anxiety directly linked to thanatophobia, and the fact that my father is a stage 4 9/11 cancer survivor, I'm ****ing horrified and furious at the same time. Thankfully we all wear masks there and try to socially distance as much as possible, but long story short, my mental health will be down the drain in quarantine leading up to the day I get tested. My current worst fear is possibly coming true.

Oh no...

Just try your best not to let the stress over the situation eat you up too much and stay optimistic, alright? I pray that social distancing and wearing a mask was enough to keep you safe from it.

I wish staying positive was easy. Sadly for notorious lifelong pessimists like me, its gonna be extremely hard. I'm not as negative online as I am in real life, and I've been working hard on improving myself as a person for the past few years, including keeping my negativity under control. My new profile picture is how I'm gonna be feeling.

I'm starting to feel a bit calmer about the situation. Most likely we're OK, since I've been staying as safe as possible while there, but I'm still a bit worried.
