Homework has actually been proven to cause stress in students thanks to recent studies. Thankfully most of my high school was really easy with homework except for Ms. ****.

I was home schooled by my mom because the school district was afraid I was going to get bullied because of my Autism aka Aspergers. I was home schooled and I did great. Got my GED and had a job doing freight for 3 years making over $13 dollars a hour in a 8 hour night shift. Some of the people there tried to bully me, harass me, and accused me of stuff I didn't do because of my Autism. So I left that place and got another job. So yeah, I think homework should exist.

Homeschooling is a different situation tbh. Homework is given to students after a long day at school, when the students are already tired. Once they get home, students most likely want to relax for the rest of the day or hang out with friends, rather than doing even more extra work afterwards. I'm assuming when you were homeschooled, your mom instructed for your lessons with you within a certain time of the day, and you were done afterwards for the rest of the day. Did you get extra work to do after your main sessions were over?
