Maybe you'd have a more compelling argument if you didn't try to pass off your stance on Pokemon as fact.

I never once did that.

All I did was back up my opinion and stance WITH facts.

You're trying to pass off your monster collecting games as being objectively better than Pokemon because you personally prefer certain aspects of them. That's not cool. Maybe the fact that so many people aren't exactly thrilled with your statements means that you're possibly in the wrong about this?

You’ve literally said right here that you don’t want anyone who likes Sword and Shield to play games you enjoy. This is a direct quote from something you’ve already said, I didn’t alter it, now you’re just pretending you’ve never said it

Whether you prefer Yo-Kai Watch 3 or Pokemon SWSH personally, it does absolutely nothing to change the fact one game kept all monsters from previous entries for a total of 752 monsters in one game with each befriendable monster having 5 custom victory animations, pop in and draw distance not being an issue, having a multiplayer mode against giant boss monsters that lets you CHOOSE which monsters your CPU allies use and a following feature where the monsters are actually right behind you.

Meanwhile, the OTHER game has 400 monsters in base game, was made by devs that blatanly lied to its fans about improving animation quality, DOESN'T let you choose your CPU allies for multiplayer giant monster fights and the monsters following behind you not only locked behind DLC but also have to teleport when they fall too far behind.

Even if you PREFER games with a smaller monster count, it's a FACT that there are monster collectors with a more condensed roster that DON'T suffer from the same FACTS.

Galileo was put under house arrest because he said the Earth orbits the Sun and that made alot of people mad. Nowadays, we LAUGH at those people that told him he was wrong even though he'd done the research and could back up his statement with facts. If people don't like what someone says even if he's done his research, that's their own problem.

They're certainly more than free to prove me wrong but all they ever really seem to do is throw insults and false accusations like babies.

Nope. Those are my words to the letter but you're completely misunderstading them. You say my statement might turn others away. I never once said I don't want them to play the game nor did I say they don't deserve to play the game. It's a loaded question where the obvious answer is "I wouldn't". Them turning away from another game is completely their own choice for completely their own reasons. I DO want more people to play these games but I wouldn't consider it a good thing if it was a Pokemon fan like Verlisify as I used in an example. Nobdody sensible likes him and he does precisely all those things I listed, so why would I want someone like that to play a game I enjoy? I don't.

That said, if you let other people control what you choose to enjoy and play, then as far as I'm concerned you're weak. I play and enjoy what I please as I please and no one is going to stop me. i certainly don't let Pokemon fans stop me from still playing and enjoying Pokemon despite its low quality and play other games of that genre and they can't do a thing about it.

Lamperouge Don't know about you but I certainly prefer NOT being lied to and paying more money for less. Regardless of my own preferences, there IS an old proverb that goes "A fool and his money are soon parted". Do with that proverb what you wish.

You’re saying people who like Pokémon Sword and Shield shouldn’t play games you enjoy. That is what you are saying, even though it’s probably not your intent.

No. I DIDN'T say they shouldn't play the games. People should be free to play any game they please for whatever reason they choose.

Notice very carefully I do not ONCE use the word LIKE. I use the word PRAISE.

Liking bad games is not the issue.
You can LIKE bad games freely. I have been extremely transparent about that.
PRAISING bad games and bad qualities is the issue.

Like I said myself I LIKE Sonic 2006 but I am NOT going to PRAISE it when there are better Sonic games.

I do NOT want people such as Verlisify whom openly praise bad game quality to play the games I enjoy.

Liking a game and a game being good are completely separate things.

You need to learn what’s objective and what’s an opinion. No, Sword and Shield’s animations and gameplay aren’t objectively bad. Sure, I think they’re awful, but that’s an opinion. Demonizing people who enjoy those parts of the game to the point you think they don’t deserve playing games you like is just immature.

And if you’re gonna respond trying to pass off opinion as fact, don’t bother.
