Thing is, I think Rare said they don't have any plans for Banjo-Kazooie at the moment. Microsoft fully owns their IPs so they don't really need Rare's permission to hand any projects over to another talented studio.

I think the N-Sane treatment could work wonders for Banjo-I mean, just look out how beautiful he and Kazooie are in Smash! It would be a great opportunity to introduce him to the younger crowd or people who simply skipped out on his games at first. This game could be an amazing selling point if it's a Series X exclusive.

If a Banjo-Kazooie game comes out in the future I hope it isn't a remake. I'd rather a team just make a new game in the series.
