My first Smash game was Melee and I thought back in the day 26 characters was a lot. I would have never imagined we would get over 80 characters and icons like Sonic, Pac-Man, Mega Man, ect all in one day. I'm very grateful for what we have gotten over the years in Smash, but most people are so greedy and need to learn you can't get everything you want in life.

Man, I wish I could hug poor Sakurai.
He went through so much, from Waluigi not being a fighter to fans complaining about Fire Emblem.

Much more than that my friend, much more than that. During Melee's development, he worked 13 months straight without taking a single day off. Most of the time he would do 40 hour shifts and than go home to go bed for 4 hours before doing it again and again.
