No, we have never seen the full extent of Shanks' power nor the Red Haired Pirates in general has we haven't gotten a actual fight from them yet. As you saw, it was pretty much foreshadowed that the Red Haired Pirates vs the Blackbeard Pirates is going to happen sometime down the line. It was pretty much confirmed in chapter 957 by Brandnew that Shanks' Commanders have the highest bounties out of any Yonko crew and they have all made a name for themselves and are feared and respected by all the pirates in the New World. Plus it was said that the Red Haired Pirates are the most balanced crew meaning in a scenario where all the Yonko crews would have a war with each other, the Red Haired Pirates would most likely win. Don't read chapter 957 because it has MASSIVE SPOILERS like the bounties of all the Yonko including the bounty of the late Gol D. Roger.

It's funny that we literally know nothing about Shanks' actual abilities and stuff besides Haki but he's playable in like 5 One Piece games.
As for Jinbe, who I also love, you'll get to see and appreciate more of him in Fishman island
but go and judge it for yourself! It'll only keep going uphill.
Crocodile is the character I mentioned the other time that became my favorite character because of Marineford. He's a character that lost his spirits after getting his ass kicked by Whitebeard back in the day. (It's often speculated that Croc may be his biological child but idk how to feel about it), and because of that lack of strong will, he lacks haki abilities, which depend on someone'a willpower, that's why he chose the easy life and retreated back to the easy half of the Grand Line with his warlord priviliges into the one country that benefited his strenght, and then when he got crushed by Luffy, a rookie no more than a month into his adventure, he just settled for letting himself rot in prison. He didn't care about escaping until he saw an opportunity to rematch Whitebeard, his will was lighting back up. Him taunting Whitebeard for letting himself get stabbed just to motivate him to advance into battle is the most passionate we see Croc in the series and after that he halts the execution, he faces Doflamingo, Mihawk and AKAINU (who he would have freaking killed right there had he known Haki LOL) all while being the smug ******* he is, I love him. There is still so much mystery surrounding his character, his full relationship with Whitebeard and Ivankov's secret, that I can't help being so fixated with him, I'm eagerly waiting for his return to the series, next arc, hopefully.

which is probably one of the weaker arcs because its villain stinks, but it has some pretty good moments and themes

Yeah it's crazy how Oda plans these things. I think one of my favorite foreshadowings was how they showed Rayleigh all the way back in episode 8 during Buggy's flashback with Shanks.
Only thing I'm a bit iffy about is Sabo (I already know of him and that he's alive). I sort of wish they mentioned him in the Luffy/Ace flashbacks during Marineford.
