I'm not really one for schadenfreude or celebrating someone's death simply because they're a bad person in general, but I also don't believe in going out of one's way to feel sympathy for people who cause their own problems. Insincere condolences given out of social courtesy is really the other side of the same coin to celebrating the downfall of a public enemy.
