It's one of the slowest arcs, true. I do love Eneru/Enel as a villain, he's fun, not so much his subordinates. The Nolan backstory was very cool though, and the scene where Eneru meets Luffy is still one of my favorite scenes.

Hold on tight for Water 7, pal. You're in for a bumpy ride.

The Water 7 Saga is where **** really starts going down. It's literally my favorite Saga of the One Piece story thus far.

When you catch up with the current arc which is Wano, let's discuss One Piece in private. I have a few crazy theories I will share with you.

Before you reach Water 7, you'll have to go through the dreaded Davy Back Fight arc! (it is canon - not much happens aside from meeting a character who's going to be important later, along with Luffy's startling transformation at the end of the arc, but given Oda's writing style, Shanks is probably going to challenge Luffy to a Davy Back Fight just to make it so even that arc is relevant to the series) It's not that bad, but it's a light-hearted side story between Skypiea and Water 7, so some people dislike it.

Or you can just skip to episode 227. If you are getting tired of it, once you pass episode 211, you can skip to episode 217 (everything between that is filler). The arc ends on episode 219, and you should be able to skip the fillers to get to 227.

TL;DR: for the canon Davy Back Fight stuff, watch episodes 207-211, 217-219, and 227 onward.

I forgot to mention, Water 7 is where the story really starts digging into the lore and world building of the One Piece world. A lot of names, places, and important stuff in the story are first mentioned in this Saga. Basically, there is a **** ton of foreshadowing.

I just remembered something VERY important and I hope I'm not too late, but if you're watching the anime I really suggest that you skip the opening that starts on episode 207 as it contains a pretty lame spoiler in it that wouldn't happen for another 30 or so episodes. Good luck.

ZoroCarlos ZoroCarlos Alright I'll try not to look at it. If it involves Franky joining the Strawhats then I already know that though. Intro 3 did a similar thing by showing Robin in it despite that intro first appearing during the Alabasta climax.

It's for an important fight scene. I was lucky enough to have someone warn me before I got to the opening and honestly I just started skipping most openings after that. (Don't skip the Marineford opening, that's my favorite one).

Also, Franky is the GOAT.

Hmmm could it be with Gears because I know Luffy gets these Gear powerups that make him go very buff.
