That game's story mode is funny as **** because all the big fights are just off-screen but the game doesn't acknowledge it. I'm not sure I've seen something like that in a crossover game before.

I don't know. Dream Mix TV World Fighters had a pretty odd roster as well.

DreamMix is probably weirder just because of the concept but I think J-Stars is specifically weird because the picks are unexpected for the concept.
