no they can't, they need to make sure that gay characters have one line that slightly suggest they might be gay so that they can easily censor it out in the chinese release and still make big money off of it

How I wish this was true
It’s probably gonna be a good while longer before we get a mainline Disney and/or Pixar property with a full on gay couple in the spotlight rather than just a one line drop. Best we’re gonna get for now is side stuff they don’t shill much (if ever) like the Owl House.

i really don't get how anyone got "gay energy" from luca and alberto. there's nothing there to suggest they're anything other than friends

Luca and Alberto don't have a gay energy or something else,they are just friends and the people are understanding the movie the wrong way,this is the same thing of historians says about a gay couple "they were best friends",but in Luca's case is the opposite
