The joke was supposed to be the anti-localizer (someone who opposes localisation of games or anime and champions translation) would be laughing because a character is named the pun N-Ashi (Nashi (pear) + Ashi (leg)) while nobody else was - basically, making fun of the idea of games being translated instead of localized by pointing out that puns don't translate and a very low amount of people playing a game in English would understand Japanese puns - but, even without a comprehensible name, the hypothetical character design would also recognize as a visual pun on "a pair of legs" to English speakers so I scrapped the joke instead of spending another 10 minutes in Google Translate trying to figure out a pun that wouldn't translate.
