It's possible that Metal Gear wouldn't have enemies like Pac-Man (yes there are Pookas and Bacuras but those aren't from Pac-Man)

I might be wrong, but maybe Metal Gear as a series has had more enemies than what Pac-Man had, if you don't count anything but the arcade games like the original one and Pac-Land, that is.

That's probably true, but Pac still had potential even outside of the ghosts - The World trilogy's enemies come to mind.

Yeah, I did think about the World trilogy. I don't think that has gotten representation in Smash Bros. If so, or if it is actually not much representation, I wonder why,
