It would have been cool to see Richter use some different abilities from Simon; Maybe he could have travelling Holy Water like in SoTN. At the very least, though, I expected some attribute differences.

Before Ultimate was released I also expected at least some differences somewhere between Dark Pit and Lucina tier differences. Considering how different Ken is from Ryu, it still boggles my mind why he was designated as an Echo Fighter since he has differences on par with non-Echo Fighters that are clones.

On the one hand, I do sort of understand the mindset behind their creation - but on the other hand, minor attribute differences would have been nice. Dark Samus and Richter specifically spring to mind as characters with a lot of potential for minor changes - though I'll admit it's nice that the Echo Fighters at least got unique animations for things like taunts.
