" YouTube Kids exists for a reason. Please, for the love of god, put it to ****ing use."
Was this message supposed to be one to uploaders? Telling them to make use of the feature? Or was it more along the lines of telling youtube to be more lenient about things like language on videos that don't use the feature because said videos are not for kids?
Either way though there is one other possible issue with the youtube kids feature. I say possible because I don't know for sure if this really does happen, but if I'm understanding things right there are cases where Youtube slaps the "for kids" label on a video without the uploaders consent. I remember seeing a compilation of moments from the Sonic Boom cartoon where the title literally said "18+ so I can get this off youtube kids."
Again, I can't claim anything to be a fact since I don't know enough about the situation. But if this is true than that's also a problem since any video marked as being for kids has the comments disabled.

And pretty much everyone uses it. Just think about the stereotypical user of various social media sites. Reddit, Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram. There's probably some vivid images brought up from those sites. But what about the stereotypical Youtube user? I'm not talking about a stereotypical Youtuber. I'm talking about the stereotype of someone who just watches Youtube. Can't think of anything? That's because there really isn't one. Stereotypes are mostly made by outsiders making observations about a group, and Youtube is big that there are no outsiders. ****'s crazy.
