maybe i'm not the expert on ignoring users - the one (1) user i have ever ignored had their account wiped from existance so i can't even use that account as a baseline

Could be because the one user you have ignored doesn’t appear on your page or latest profile posts (whichever you’re looking at). Like I don’t have anyone ignored in the Mario Smash thread so it doesn’t show up there.
IIRC, there is? You just need to scroll down to the bottom of the Latest profile post section on the main page or to the bottom of the page on your own wall. Again, though, this is just what I remember - Dunno if it's changed or never existed to begin with.Nevermind, I was wrong.
