I feel like with this specifically, what concerns me more (though this is just me) isn't so much the existence of the result but the implications that that very article possesses. This sort of thing genuinely makes me so... infuriated. So, I suppose eugenics is on the table now, then? Humanity is really coming so far.

But hey, put it this way - at least I now have inspiration for a dystopian novel wherein all infants deemed to possess "undesirable" traits are "intervened" before birth, resulting in the theoretical perfection of the human race in exchange for basic human rights. But luckily that will never, ever come to pass. Won't it?

I wouldn’t be surprised if a novel like that already exists… which is even more disturbing once you think about it.
As history has proven, anyone preaching a “perfect race” based on “desired” genetic traits probably isn’t a very good person, so to see “early intervention” being preached as some sort of miracle… Yiiiiiikes.
