It has just occurred to me that that probably seemed really mean-spirited out of context and I'd just like to apologise for not making it clearer that I'm only jesting (besides, I've had a lot of fun with D&D with "the gang"!) I don't mean anything nasty by my comparisons and the like. Really sorry if I put this terribly :yeahboi:

you could also do the m from mario’s hat for the super mario franchise, but that stems beyond hasbro which isn’t as funny

On an unrelated note here's the actual concept I have for the Hasbro side at least: I wanted to effectively represent a wide variety of both character types and series, so I removed characters like Megatron in order to allow more franchises to get in. Notably, I wanted to have a variety of franchises - hence why Pennybags got in as a "board game rep", and how Murph got in because I felt NERF was important despite not being traditionally character-led. I'll admit there might be some overlap between Action Man and Snake, but I think Action Man would be handled with a lot more of his fantastical spy influences - likewise, Snake Eyes would fight significantly differently to Red Ranger on the basis of the latter being more Tokusatsu-based.

Other notes - I specifically specify the Battle Trolls due to their association with Hasbro but normal Trolls would work too, Murph is referred to by they/them pronouns in-game, the Play-Doh Monster is able to freely morph and change form during combat, Mr. Potato Head has Mrs. Potato Head as an alternate costume, I picked Jace because they felt like probably the closest to a "main protagonist" for the Magic series, and ROM is primarily based on the comics media - including both the modern IDW series and the classic Marvel canon - but has their classic build as an alternate costume. Also the Furby has a "Long Furby" move and they're designed purposely to be slightly unsettling (but not too much!)
