Miraheze is the one I see mentioned most often - It’s non-profit and pretty reliable to use.

Yeah, I might do that one, I want to make a fantasy universe and I want some protections so that people won't steal this stuff without permission

Wikia? That’s the easiest.

People are gonna steal stuff regardless if it’s good enough to steal. Having protections for it won’t help.

Wikia’s definitely the one that’s the easiest to start with as opposed to Miraheze, but recent developments over there have made the editor clunkier/laggier to use for larger projects. If visibility/publicity isn’t your biggest goal and you’re planning on having large pages, I’d recommend Miraheze over Wikia.

Also, Venus does have a good point - People can/will steal stuff online if they find it worth stealing, but Wikia stuff, from personal experience, is much more susceptible to that than Miraheze sites.

On one hand, if people can steal an idea to capitalize off of it; they will as long the idea hasn’t been trademarked and published. The best possible optional, if you intend to safeguard your intellectual properties, is to keep a secret document or hidden page with it which you can share with people you can trust. That being said, very few people actually make something that will eventually lead to churning a living. While not knocking on whatever you intend to create, if your goal is to protect intellectual properties, perhaps find a way to capitalize on it yourself instead of letting anyone have free dibs on it.

I can see where you going at, I dont know how big the project will be, but while I do want to protected, I am not in it for the money unless if the wiki will have ads, my issue is that I dont people to use this stuff without proper credit

I think Miraheze runs ads, but even then the ad revenue’s probably going to the host and not you.

Anyway, I’m with you about just wanting your stuff to be credited. I’m the same way with my own characters and world; I’m not looking to make money off them, and I’m open to people using them if they ask me first and give proper credit.

Yeah and if they make a monetary product off of it I will be okay with being played upfront for using the license

If someone wants to make a monetary product based off the idea I made, I am okay with it as long as I get an upfront licensing fee
