Nice video, just discovered that today while looking up some BnB combos. Definitely need to get used to using dancing blade after confirmations. Also been using D-Throw into Up-B for reliable low-% damage against most of the cast.

No noticeable changes off the bat for me. Did a couple of online matches just to get a feel. Can bust out the unpatched 3DS when I get home later and do some documenting if someone doesn't beat me to it.

I feel the same way. He is fun, but against good players I feel Ike is completely run over, and I have to switch to someone else, usually Kirby. Honestly based on what I have seen and tried, Shulk seems to do everything Ike does, but better.

Nice finds. Seems to enforce the 'down DI' thing that was initially discovered, but the ability to also push yourself away from combos will certainly make characters that are being seen as strong like Bowser, who just rely on big hits instead of combos, pulling ahead of the crowd. I am sure...

Bleh, that really sucks. Ike seems really weak in Sm4sh right now... this was one change I was hoping would occur to help him out. I will still give him a shot, but all signs point to him being too weak again.

Good I clicked the correct post. I didnt feel this was worth a separate post. I am having a serious problem versus one player who LOVES to spam A attacks. His favorite character is Ike and he seems to beat me with simply his AAA combo, followed by FAir and I can rarely do anything about it...

I usually do both. I find both equally effective, although Bair is probably easier.

I rarely take the hat myself. Kirbyciding is part of my play style, I have gotten quite good at it. There are only a handful of characters I bother taking and I only take them if I feel the player wont fall for my Kirbycide.

This. I play a solid DK player at school who has to counter pick Marth since I can combo and spike him so well. The only problems I seem o have with his DK is that he can just kill me at low % if I am not careful, other then that you need to play very defensively and get him off the edge...

Yeah, FSmash is kind of my go-to move, it shouldnt be, but it is. I will definitely work to break that habit of mine. Also, unfortunately I do not have videos at the moment of me playing anyone else, there are multiple other people I play regularly who are better (Marth, Ike and Ness players)...
