I already reported the issue to Nintendo (living in Austria, Europe). I also felt so free to link this thread in my email to them to raise awareness for the issue.

At least for me the problem is not the patch. Even without patch I can't even ****ing start the game. Guess I'll try to give it back. Can't do anything with it.

Well yeah, it totally seems like it's a bug with the game, I also have a pending request with Nintendo support right now.. let's see what they say. Maybe it can be fixed with a patch or something

obviously not - as I mentioned, I'm having this problem with the physical copy. I can't even start the game properly.

I have the same problem, but in such a way that I don't even get to start the game. It always crashes when I press Open in the HOME-Menu. However I have a retail version, so it's probably not download version only. If you finde a solution for your problem, it would be cool if you'd let me know. :)

Yes I tried it with other games. Pokemon Y and Zelda: A Link Between Worlds are working without complications, so no clue what this error thing might be about. :/ I may have to send my 3ds in to check for problems, dunno. Still thanks dude!
