    The sword hitbox, the one used to catch the 2 frame vulnerability, wasn't touched. It's still 7 frames. The flame hitbox is what gained more active frames.

    Blade Beam sucks without Limit. Eruption is a fantastic edge-guarding tool, Counter makes certain matchups really sad and having no QD would be terrible. Cloud makes me glad that Ike didn't get a sword beam.

    The best you can do to avoid it is to try and throw off his timing and/or ride the wall to shorten the amount of time Ike has to hit you. Even then, Ike still has 7 active frames to hit you out of the 2 frame ledge snap vulnerability, which Falcon can't do much about with no hitbox on his Up B...

    It's still plenty worth to use Ike on Anthers in order to study matchups, just don't take it too seriously. It's ranked, sure, but it's still wifi.

    A wise player once told me to use WiFi mostly to practice matchups and practice offline for the rest. Seems like sound advice to me. You can still figure out what does well and what doesn't in a matchup for the most part in a bit of lag. Also lag bodies tilt stick. Smash stick has the problem...
