I’m just trying to make a generic setup, I know the switch is already full portable but I would like to play on a monitor.

    Semi Portable Gaming Setup

Hello Smash Community! I’m looking for some recommendations on how I can create a semi portable gaming setup in this massive locker that I have all to myself. I have a monitor, a Wii U/Switch setup, and of course all the chords for each. I’m thinking that I’m gonna need some sort of portable...

    Monitor recommendations

By any chance do you have the info on anything under the $100 range? I’m going to end up fundraising for these things, so I’m trying to keep the cost as low as possible but still have a lot of bang for my buck

    Monitor recommendations

Hi! I’m making plans to expand my school’s Smash Club into a general video game club, but I want it to be MASSIVE! I’m estimating that I’m going to need about 16 Monitors, so what models of monitors should I try purchasing? I want them to have relatively low input lag (1ms if we can afford it)...

The Future of Smash With Switch As Its Platform

I just did a little bit of research, and no, wireless controllers still have more delay than wired ones, though not by much but by enough. But your post made me wonder: is the delay noticeable? For example: assuming you’re playing a game on a 1ms monitor and you compare a wired vs a wireless...

The Future of Smash With Switch As Its Platform

This would make sense, however using any controller other than the official GameCube controller is not ideal. Because it is a wired controller, it will have the shortest input delay relative to any other controller, so it's by far the best controller to use imo.

The Future of Smash With Switch As Its Platform

I can see where you're coming from with this comment. That would appear to be a major inconvenience, but when has something like this not been the case? Now that I think about it, it's essentially the same concept as unplugging someone's system during a set, and this risk has always been...

The Future of Smash With Switch As Its Platform

Based on all of the footage shown from the Smash E3 Invitational, CEO 2018, as well as the opinions of some of the top Smash players, Super Smash Bros Ultimate looks to be a historic game in the making. Actually, it's very likely to be the biggest and possibly the best Smash title of all time...

Tips to get better at edgeguarding

I’m a sm4sh player, but also trying to learn melee. For sm4sh, training mode is useful for practicing two frame punishes, covering jump options, etc. but like you mentioned, it’s more difficult to cover other things. I recommend practicing against a level 3 cpu in regular smash mode, don’t...

Pre-Release The future of wave dashing/wave landing.

As a newcomer to the smash competitive scene in general, I can tell that one of the aspects of this game series that makes it so replayable is that there's always something new to learn. Whether you're a smash 4 player who emphasizes the importance of learning matchups and getting experience...
