Tokyo 2020 eGames: How Will It Affect Smash?

That info comes directly from Hungrybox himself, on Twitter. I was not referring to the Smash Invitational. The fact that this was just a showcase doesn't really mean much. While it can be said that this year's eGames weren't meant to be very big, that doesn't change the fact that given the...

Tokyo 2020 eGames: How Will It Affect Smash?

I don't really say how you can say "it is safe to say the Tokyo 2020 eGames will be one of the biggest events in gaming," considering the 2016 egames had only two games, neither of which gained much viewership, or the fact that the organizers have demonstrated on several occasions that they...

Midwest [Mar 21, 2015] Cincinnati Smash Classic! @Arcade Legacy (Cincinnati, OH)

Hey, this'll only be my second tourney. My first was a great experience. If you're worried about people thinking they wasted time playing you, you can just play some friendlies with me! Not like I don't need them.

Midwest [Mar 21, 2015] Cincinnati Smash Classic! @Arcade Legacy (Cincinnati, OH)

Yo, I'm planning on bringing a setup. I presume that'll mean I need to stay for the whole event? Just wanna make sure my ride'll work out.

[Jan 24, 2015] Cincinnati Smash Forever - SSBU/SSBM/SSBPM (Cincinnati, Ohio)

First tourney I've ever been to, got eight stocked in PM pools. Still somehow managed to win a set. I wanted to thank you guys for putting this all together. It was pretty great and I'll try to come to some more in the future.

You just need to charge it. No tricks involved.

    Counter to cover opponents' recoveries?

What about characters without projectiles, or slow recoveries?

    Counter to cover opponents' recoveries?

Given that a majority of the cast's recovery options involve some form of attack, it seems that Marth's counter would be helpful in limiting those recoveries. I myself use this option on occasion. However, I don't see this happen often when more skilled players are at the controls, so I presume...

    Marth combo

It's pretty clear that Roy is not in hitstun. He had plenty of opportunities to break Marth's string and either didn't react quickly enough or pretended he didn't have time. True combos require inability to act.

    Little Mac & Samus

Yeah, but everyone knows the true OTP is Palucina.

    Spikefest - Wii U - 12/20/14

Certainly interested. Although, I wouldn't be able to participate in the two earlier start times. EDIT: Ah, never mind. I can't do it anyway.

    Marth's kill options?

Well, I was looking more toward safer or earlier options. Much as I love a good fsmash or SB, they leave me more vulnerable than I am comfortable with.
