    Dedede Tactical Strategy 20 - IC's Desynchs

shieldgrab G&W Bair, we have good enough range that he would have to retreat it pretty far to get away from us. If he is too far take a step forward and grab. Also if your expecting the Bair Ftilt has farther reach, and I think Dtilt is a trade hit i think <.> not 100% on that though.

Thanks Qwertyman, I think i was shielding too late :[ lol. It's quicker than i thought lol, i'll have to practice the timing, and only some characters can be SC grabbed, and some can only be regular chaingrabbed right?

Does anyone have any demonstrational videos of the SC chaingrab? I've heard it was faster, but i'm having a hard time pulling it off without a visual aid :[ I can do the normal running chaingrab fine, just the SCG is killing my advancement on the chaingrab aspect of D3 D: thanks guys.

The Dtilt is also really good for predicting sidesteps, because of the lingering hitbox that it has. It stays out for quite sometime, almost like a sex kick (think samus Nair) The Dtilt has good knockback and is one of Dedede's most reliable grounded horizontal kill moves, it comes out fast...

Expanding The Kingdom: Weekly Dedede Stage Discussion (Week 12 - Pokémon Stadium 2)

Mostly everything has been said that i can think of anyway, except if your opponent loves being in the air you can get even earlier % Utilt kills on the lower platforms, or if your lucky the top platform lol. I think the stage is probably a 3/5 for Dedede mainly because I have a hard time...

    Official Q&A Thread

As long as you can chaingrab the character there is no dashing too early. Just make sure you figure out your grab range and the distance each character goes. When you shield cancel grab you should be able to dash after your dthrow then follow up with a dash > shield cancel > shieldgrab them. It...

Yeah, Buuman is correct about the Bair for the Momentum canceling, not only can you D.I. down like the Dair provides, you also end sooner for the jump to pretty much end your Horizontal movement too.

I completely forgot about momentum canceling @.@ thanks for pointing that out Buuman, I'll add it in.

I'm not sure if this is true, but i think Dedede's Dtilt has some of the best prio of his moves. I know that Ftilt, and Bair both don't go through Metaknight's side B, but his Dtilt does. Might just be hit boxes not sure :P
