    Official Metaknight Discussion

srsly guys was all that **** really necessary? I knew ahead of time that my idea most likely sucked, you didn't have to make me look like a moron on top of that. What I meant was that if the platform's on the left, in the hypothetical situation that I would've DQ'd you, you'd be on the right...

    Official Metaknight Discussion

No, it isn't. I'm going to go over this again, just so we're clear. I don't care about any specific examples, this is an in general thing. If I'm watching a match and I catch both players camping, then I'm going to announce my intent to them and keep my eyes on their match. If neither...

That example you gave was camping, yeah, and odds are if it were up to me I'd probably give you two a one minute warning to think of something. After that minute's up and nothing's changed, then I'd declare both of you to be stalling, politely inform you that there are no refunds and that while...

I'd have to be an idiot to claim that people don't stall. And while I may look like an idiot, I assure you I am nothing of the sort. Now, what I think I said was "WHEN People don't play like that", which makes a lot more sense. The rule would be "There is a large creepy man watching you play a...

    Official Metaknight Discussion

    1) I actually was going to say 2 minutes in my last post, so yeah, that's the time I'd go with. 2) Yes, it is, and yes, it would. But when you can win a match as easily as M2K got that first KO in that match, it makes me wonder what the point in dragging things out is. How quickly he won that...

    Official Metaknight Discussion

I'm glad my idea got shot down so I won't be thinking about it anymore (unless I suddenly decide to start hosting tournaments of my own, in which case I'll probably do it anyways), but I wanted to address this: My point was that, when neither player is stalling, Brawl matches are almost...

    Official Metaknight Discussion

No Time Limit: Like I said, in most matches I've seen the threat of running out of time never seems to come up. In the matches where it does, it's because one of the players spent an extended amount of time actively avoiding confrontation. Basically, I don't feel that Brawl matches run long...

    Official Metaknight Discussion

From what I've seen most Brawl matches don't come within 2 minutes of the time limit, and the ones that do usually involve lots of stalling. Remove the time limit for matches, actually enforce the stalling rule, and keep the ledge grab rule at 40-50 ledge grabs. The first removes the real...

If you could rewrite the SUbspace Storyline...

First, I'd start by having dialogue. Even if there's no voice acting, making all the characters literally mute was simply stupid. Secondly, the structure of the game would change massively. Whoever you pick at the start of the game (Mario, Kirby) determines whose path you follow afterwords...

I did, about halfway through typing that up. I just went ahead with it anyways because I'm an idiot. ... you sly awesome guy you.

And he can kill MK at like 30% with a Reverse WP, so obviously MK is terrible against him. Obviously. Don't forget Wizard Foot: It doesn't actually have a hitbubble for his foot, so MK will think he's being hit when he's actually not! Think of the mindgame potential! And Dark Dive, **** that's a...

Who was easiest for you to beat at Difficulty 9

Personally, I'd rather not touch LV9s with a seventy foot pole, no matter how much of a range advantage that'd give me. But if I have to beat one of them around, it's gotta be Snake. I love grabbing him out of his recovery for easy KOs.

I know I'm not OS, but I want to answer this. It's a loaded question because the question itself only allows for two answers: Yes, he bans because of dominance, or yes, he bans because of brokenness. Just sayin', it's a wording problem. Though why OS didn't say that to begin with confuses me.

    Most Played Stages...Online

Basic Brawl: Final Destination for "serious" matches, and Temple for taunt parties. Lately though I've seen people pick other stages a lot, even if they're still just screwing around. W/Friends: We always run through the starters, and counterpicks get used frequently. There's really no one...

I probably have no idea what I'm talking about, but wouldn't destroying only half the house (as in, the left or the right side) work too?
