I need help on Sheiks. I L-cancel and my friend doesn't and he still beats me a good percent. its all dthrow>(enter combo here). What do i do for this match-up

My friend came over and we played Melee the entire night. I switch between Jiggz and DK those are my two characters. I l-cancel, wave dash properly w/ mindgames and all that. He does absolutely nothing and still gays the **** outta me with dthrow>(enter combo here). How the **** do i beat shiek?
