I honestly think Sakurai is really done with Smash now. He really put his all into Ultimate and even mentioned Iwata and how he wanted to make this game special for him, and now it’s done. Obviously Smash makes way too much money for Nintendo to just never make another, but it’ll likely be 5-6...

I don’t think there’s any way they get this roster back. It’d be too much of a nightmare with all the different character rights.

The only golf game I played was the N64 one and I loved Plum. Don’t remember Gene, but they would be cool to have return.

As others have said I’m really surprised we didn’t get any Ace Attorney stuff. That series has become one of my favorites recently and even though I’m glad we got Sora I would have also been psyched to get Phoenix. Hopefully some spirits show up in the future.

K. Rool, Banjo, Pyra/Mythra, and Sora are definitely the highlight newcomers for me. Didn’t get my most wanted, but still extremely satisfied.

At the end of the day until Nintendo resurrects Golden Sun Isaac won’t be in Smash. Pokémon always gets new characters and Three Houses is newer. It made sense to have them. Same with the Arms character. And Camelot keeps cranking out Mario Sports games because they for sure will sell millions...
