If Nintendo sees that you hacked your Wii, then most severe thing that'll happen is that they'll denied your repair and you back your Wii, but they'll probably send you a different Wii updated to 4.3. You didn't pirate games which is severe but the only thing you hacked your Wii for is Homebrew which is really nothing. Trust me, you won't receive charges from Nintendo or get sued in civil court. You can trust your captain.

The only thing that happens if you send it in for repairs, you'll more than likely receive a different Wii or they not might even look into it and just fix your Wii. The problem is that it is hardware, not software related so you didn't have to update. Although, it seems more than likely that your Wii just has dirty lens. You'll have to get a Wii Lens Cleaner to see if it is. If it is, you don't have to buy a new Wii as dirty lens is easy to fix but if the Wii Lens Cleaner doesn't fix playing Brawl, you'll have to send it for repairs (I think the repair is free if it is the Brawl issue)....or become my 1st mate and join my pirating crew.

Sorry to hear about your Wii. I don't have a 360 but I do have a 64, DS, two PSPs, Wii and a PS3. What's exactly wrong with your Wii? Is it just only happening to Brawl? I may be able to assist depending on your Wii's condition.

Send me the GCT files that your using now. Also, how do you compile your GCT files? Do you use Code Manager?

Whoops, I didn't read that perfectly well. I thought that you would want HBC because it'll load Geckos more easier and you won't have to manage through the Stage Builder to load the GCT. Now if you're looking for a "good" GCT file, you should compile it yourself but since you want Brawl +, Brawl -, etc, you need to sepreate them because they all need to load their specific modified files. Upload the GCT files you're having trouble with and I'll take a look at them.

It's an exploit that runs on any Wii System Version and can install the Homebrew Channel. Using this will NOT harm your Wii. The hack that you're using just boots up from that file path, it's not loading the elf. file I thought it would. Once you install this, I'll help you with P:M or any other Brawl version.

Was the name of the hack called Smashstack? If so, it should had installed Homebrew Channel on your Wii. What region is it anyways?

If you can remember that link, it would be helpful. I see...the reason why you're seeing everyone jumping off stage is because you're using modified files like Sonic as Shadow. His file for example has the spikes on his back modified. Usually, anything character hack that has modified the model is not wifi friendly.

You mean changing them like this? If you wanna edit (nearly) anything in Brawl, you'll need Brawlbox. Here's a vid guide on how to get started in making your own character textures.

You need to have Zelda's .pcs and .pac files in her folder unlike most characters who only need the .pcs files. This also applies to Pokemon trainer, Samus, Zamus, Wario and Bowser.

Lol Brawl seems soooo much more fun with textures doesn't it.

Be wary of what textures you use though. Some of them can cause desyncs.
