I think "extending the lifespan of Sm4sh" is ultimately a meaningless endeavor when the new game is a month and change away. If you want to play a more competitive version of Sm4sh (or won't have access to a Switch), mods are where it's at. Like this one, for instance.

The biggest buffs to Ganon are the universal game changes that happen to affect him & other heavies more than the already faster characters. Universal frame 3 jumpsquat and lower landing lag on aerials are a lot more significant than damage buffs. Overall, I'm guessing his gameplan changes very...

I agree completely, but the game needs to be competitive to be competitive. Right now, the win conditions for some characters are so skewed compared to others that it trivializes the skill element, which for most people, is the most important element of competition.

Dabuz had a good post a while ago about how he thought ledge rolls should force real coverage instead of being able to cover the other options and react to the roll afterwards. I tend to agree with that and am trying it out in my project, but I wanted to see what other people thought about ledge...

It's 15% extra for hitting Jr. and 12% less for hitting the car, so mathematically speaking, it's a net loss. That said, the car hurtbox is bigger.

The choices were almost universally-sourced from members of the Jr. community and our local PR'd Wendy (#2 in the state). I know nothing about the character--probably less than virtually any character in the game--so I took no liberties of my own except in refining or balancing other proposals.
