    Rayman Leak Deconfirmed

I think you're looking way too far into this. Yes, he didn't make it, but he did make the original icons and Rayman render, which were used in this picture as well. I wouldn't put it behind anybody to do something like this.

    Rayman Leak Deconfirmed

There are plenty of talented people out there. I highly doubt it would have been difficult to make the 3DS picture. Some guy on reddit admitted to it, actually.

    Rayman Leak Deconfirmed

I don't quite understand either. I'd assume they would just cancel the thing altogether and post about it on Twitter or something. Perhaps they just can't cancel it now and are forced to go through with it. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't hoping for at the very least something good to come out...

    Rayman Leak Deconfirmed

    1. Ubisoft made the announcement before the guy put the video up deconfirming it. The fact that Ubisoft was planning to make a statement on this was the reason the guy came forward so quickly. The statement on Tuesday will probably just say the same thing as he did. 2. He did make the shop...

    Rayman Leak Deconfirmed

I was skeptical to begin with, so it's not really that big of a surprise. However, I wish I could get on this "Damn that's impressive, I'm not even mad" bandwagon, but as a huge Rayman fan, I'd be lying if I said wasn't just a little bit upset. I always thought he would be really cool and...

    Q&A Olimar Q&A thread.

Unfortunately, yes, Pikmin are treated as projectiles, and as such they can be reflected back at you. I know because I've been killed several times by reflectors. Fortunately, most characters can't spam their reflects all that easily without opening themselves up to punish opportunities, so it's...

    Q&A Olimar Q&A thread.

Hello, fellow carrot lovers. I just picked up Olimar a few days ago, and I have been really enjoying my time with him. I messed around with him a bit a while ago, but everybody told me that he was bottom tier, so I didn't really take him seriously and I didn't play him. However, I decided to...

Meta Donkey Kong Competitive and Metagame Discussion

Usually when I get a grab, I find myself going for either an up-throw or a back-throw. While not guaranteed or as easy to pull off as say, Diddy's d-throw>uair, up-throw can lead into a u-air from you, and back-throw can actually kill at the right percents or stage position; it launches at a...

Meta Donkey Kong Competitive and Metagame Discussion

With how quickly people can get out of your grabs in this game, it's going to be very hard to pull off unless they are at a very high percentage, in which case it would most likely just be better to finish them off with something else.

What are some good anti-rushdown characters?

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I'll be sure to try some of these out.

What are some good anti-rushdown characters?

Preferably ones that aren't rushdown characters themselves. I understand what I am asking for here; I know that a lot of people really love the rushdown playstyle, but I don't; it's one of the reasons why I couldn't get into melee, despite its speed being the reason people loved it so much. I've...

Meta Donkey Kong Competitive and Metagame Discussion

Perhaps this has been asked plenty of times before but, what are DK's options against heavy rushdown characters such as Sheik or Greninja? Usually as DK, I try to play a slower, more punishment-based game, which means that I'm either not the first one to approach, or if I am, I go in slowly...

What characters go well with an aggressive play style?

I'd probably say Diddy Kong would be your best bet. Yes, I know people consider him S tier. This may seem surprising, but I'd actually also say check out Luigi; his combo potential is pretty damn good. Yeah, he's not as fast as say Sheik, ZSS, or Sonic, nor can he go full rushdown like they...

1 on 1 Training againts CPU

LVL 9 CPU have frame-perfect shields, rolls, air-dodges, and punishes. They are programmed specifically to read your inputs and react to them instantly, if their character allows it; their reaction time allows them to pull off things that no human would be able to perform consistently. They have...
