Its definitely in Fox's favor. /s You can 2-frame the side-b with up tilt every time > back-air, up-air, bait air-dodge, etc. You both want free dash attacks, don't give him/her any. Do you like giving your opponent free grabs? Then shield a lot. If not, then have confidence in your reaction...

You cannot bait a CPU. You can practice combos and movement but when you start watching them and try to improve your neutral it could be more harmful than helpful.

So I should try it faster than marths or wait a little bit more when doing it with Fox?

Could you post a video of doing it? Or at least explain more of the timing for Fox? I can do it every now and then with Marth but I have never gotten it once with Fox on any level.

How exactly do you reverse cancel? I am inputting the buttons as you said but i keep shooting the charge shot towards the stage

If you bait the jump and they choose to do a move it will hit you, depending on how fast it comes out. If you go straight for footstool they can't act fast enough, but they still have their second jump afterwards.

Yea, for the most part you can wait until they double jump and footstool but some characters like Falcon, DK, Bowser, etc. can't recover even with their double jump.
