for me I wanted the SNES colored button on the XL version :(

For me the F-Zero franchise was a bit hit and miss... some games (including Original) I really enjoyed but then others (like N64) I couldn't get on with may have been controller. I know there trying to create the illusion of speed but sometimes it was lost :(

for me I enjoyed the game, just hated the controls... but hated most controls which didn't allow a pad to be used on the Wii. Think if the game was released on Wii U with standard control system (using a controller) the game would be much more playable!!

For a new player this would be great as searching google for information seems to give me variation of results and peoples opinions sometimes conflict making my choose of strategies etc... vary loads... one resource would be great :)

thanks for advice... we are running local events but want to do some more casual online tournaments.

I think along with most that the new system with be a handheld system.. but its Nintendo and I'm sure we will back them as always :)

We recently ran our first SMASH event and we were in the same position of not knowing. For us there was a small Retro Event which had about 30 people attending. We decided to piggy back there event and run SM4SH, what we did was create a FB page, and poster and post this in all local facebook...

We have recently set up a SMASH community in Gloucestershire, its about 80 miles from you. However we do have players coming from Birmingham and Leicester who have attended which isn't to far from yourself.
