Very good point on her flexibility! Nice way to put it. Her character has changed through the iterations more than any other, I would say.

It's her Legend. 3 different Zelda representing the 3 most popular franchise entries (Sheik - Ocarina, Tetra - Wind Waker, Zelda - Twilight Princess). (though I'd prefer Tetra...)

Thanks! :D It's nice to see peeps acknowledging the perspective of others. I agree it's easier to picture Girahim bringing something original to the table - at least in terms of fighting style, because I think in terms of character and aesthetic Tetra is one of the best potential newcomers...

People consider Xenoblade a commercial success and Dark Dawn a failure, but there wasn't that much difference in the sales. Plus, Golden Sun has sold more than Punch-out, Kid Icarus and Mother. That's a much bigger boon that people seem to think

I see where you're coming from, but for me that's one of the main reasons I like Tetra. They're all techincally distinct characters, but they're also still the main 3. It is the Legend of Zelda, to be fair. And I think different versions of the characters emphasise its different timelines, and...

I don't think any of the one-shots make sense. It has to be either Tetra, Toon Zelda or Ganon. Though Tetra is my first choice. More distinct character than Ganon (Pirate captain girl-child VS another magical-ish monster baddie thing), and not the clone that Toon Zelda presumably would be.

There's plenty of characters they could have used, and it doesn't really matter why they picked him; the fact is, they did, and that's upwards of 27 million extra people who now recognise Toad as a character. People who potentially love him as a character - he was bound to be many peoples'...
