  • Do you think we could both mod the OP in the fighting game thead?

It's a bit hard for me to keep up with the player list on my own~
Oh man onlive... that stuff is gonna need everyone to have carbon fiber connection to even work a little bit haha.

And truth be told, there are really good laptops out there that keep up with desktops. The problem is laptops don't last much longer than two years.
Well that was half right. However, a deal's a deal. Here's your cut of the spoils.
Mine too, it's been randomly shutting down due to the heat. My laptop couldnt run CS anyways due to it being ****ty. I tried, it ran in slo-mo haha.
Hakumen is really enjoyable to play, it's just too bad that he just isn't very "solid" in trigger. In continuum shift however, he wrecks people like there's no tomorrow. His poke is insane, his new way of dealing with projectiles is also really good, fun, and original.

I'm trying to learn taokaka in trigger now, but her combo's feel really weird and hard. Especially since I'm used to playing Arakune/Noel/Nu-13 and just baiting people to make a mistake, and screw them over for it. The assertive play of taokaka is really weird for me haha.
Oh I'll be practicing with a friend this night (for you mid day/afternoon haha) to get back into the game for an upcomming tournament. Maybe you'd like to join in?
Maybe, but not alot of those people play it. And the few that do, probably do not have alot to add (vietgeek etc).

Maybe a fighting game general would be a better idea? That could turn into flaming though... hmm..
    OMGOMGOMG

FRANZISKA AND EDGEWORTH IN THE COURT

You have no idea how hyped I am at the moment. :bee:
Nice! If you're around in a few we may be able to play again without the lag, my son is at daycare.
Wish I had a bedtime, maybe i'd sleep. Wish I had a job too.

Just got back from visiting my gf and went to a wedding, which is why i was gone. Getting ready to transfer schools in the fall so im getting that all arranged. A lot, really.

When you comin to the states to meet all of us :x
I have to! I'm going to work at a camp for terminally ill kids for a week with my girlfriend.

    Hows life with you
And I picked Lucario and ROB through probably non-orthodox means. I didn't pick them because I liked the characters. I didn't even know what a ROB was in 2008. I didn't pick them because I thought they were "good" characters. ROB's Roflcopter and Lucario's Double Team are just plain silly. I decided to main them because while I lurked SWF before joining, I saw their communities. And I loved them. They are communities that just inspire you to do your best with a sub-par main, even in a game like Brawl where MK dominates and tripping screws you over and you're tempted to drop your character or even Brawl altogether.

So I suppose you could say I main who I main because I love being the underdog, the underdog who's in over his head and "is just a small kid in a big world", haha.

Sorry to go on a rant on your page.:urg:
    Oh? Then you're not alone.

When I first played Melee I only picked Mewtwo because I though he "looked cool". Then Brawl came out and I bought it and dropped Melee because Brawl was "it". It was what "everybody" in the smash community was playing. Then I joined Smashboards and got into competitive play.

However, I recently got back into Melee, but in a competitive mindset. And I knew Mewtwo was a terrible character. But you know why I stuck with him? Because it was so neat seeing all these videos of top Mewtwos, it was so neat thinking that if you played him and traained with him and just gave it your all with him, you could take him from trash to the top. Sure, Mewtwo is an awful character. In his raw, "potential" state. But it's so satisfying winning and making a name for yourself with a "bad" character.
Yes! And even if he has used it two times, he still thinks it's "nonsense"!

    What a swell guy. :bee:
    D
Whoops, I thought it would fit (I'm on classic blue so I didn't notice).

roughly how much does it stretch it?
I most definitely know my next avatar now.

Seriously, how did they get away with that?
It surely makes Smashboards more interesting. Maybe I should ask someone to infract me for Major Inappropriate Content.
