  • Lythium I need to admit something to you right now.

I don't know how to read.

Also I have a new avatar, let's make out soon m'kay?
This is why I disappear for a month or two every once in awhile.

Edit-Not really the heat itself from the vanilla ******* just like, boredom. I don't mind heat just ffs make it interesting.
Oh mah gawd you need to do at least one of those things.

And one of those things can't be done without also doing the other sooooo figure it out.

Also I think you're just refusing to talk to me outside of vm's and that's weird. >:[
BW2 has the most extensive post-game content ever most likely, so it's worth sticking with. This is the first Pokémon game where after doing everything my team is L85+ without any grinding ever (though most of it is from a post-game battle tower with lots of floors and strong trainers). The tournament puts all levels at 50 btw, so levels don't matter there. Anyway, you could always just put it aside for a bit if you get bored and revisit it later, no gen 6 even announced yet.

I'm thinking 3D Land is probably the most appropriate title to get with the system as far as seeing what it can do goes. I've heard mixed things on the Layton game, but the negatives mostly boil down to it being a repeat of the same old formula. Did they make any significant changes? Even if they didn't I'll have fun with it no doubt, but I am getting to the point where I don't know how much more of it I want. I mostly want a really good new Advance Wars game, it's been too long.
The post-game has a world tournament where you can fight gym leaders and champions from all regions. :) Pretty tough though, they actually have competitive stats and movesets/items.

I just ordered the blue 3DS XL + Mario 3D Land btw. The deal also lets me download another game in January, probably going with Layton for that. =]
So I just saw gameplay footage of Nu in BBCP. I'm pretty disappointed in how she looks but on the other hand the people playing her didn't really look like they knew what they were doing. I didn't see anyone using the Flash Kick. And apparently buzzsaw is one hit now and moves as fast as a low Tiger Shot? That's going to kill her oki game.

Is there anywhere I can find a full list of changes to her? Dustloop is down and I have no idea where else to look.
You should always take my word for anything. ;) And yeah, experience scaling as well as a bigger focus on plot and presentation makes it feel fresh.
BW and BW2 are probably the most fun singleplayer campaigns since RBY and GSC. :) Just unfortunate that it took a nosedive competitively after gen 3, IMO.
The reviews are pretty divided. From what I can tell most people either agree that ACII was where the series was at its zenith or they've never played an AC game before.

Also, the tutorial is 4 hours long. No joke.
And for most of that you're not even playing as Connor.
School and work. I've only had time to play a few games this semester.

I beat Spec Ops: The Line. It was really good. Best story in any 3PS game I've seen this year. I've heard the multiplayer is **** though, so it's a good thing I don't care about it.

I bought TTT2 but for some reason I'm not getting the full preorder stuff even though I preordered it. I have some of the preorder characters but not Ancient Ogre, Michelle, Angel, Kunimitsu, or the swimsuit DLC. idk what the deal with that is, but the game is still pretty fun.

I also bought Assassin's Creed III. That game is ***. I played it a lot the weekend I got it but I haven't played it since because it's just so bad. This is the first time I've owned a game that I actively am ok with not playing.
I only read SRK for the news on the front page, which rarely has anything about games I actually play and when it does it's usually been reported on Dustloop, DreamCancel, Mane6.com, or another site first. Tourney results are also good but it's pretty much the same deal - Capcom games get all the attention and for the rest they only post partial results and matchlog or sometimes just top4. **** sucks.

Not that I ever have time to play fighting games anymore anyway. =/

But yeah, it really is stupid how some people will completely write-off a game because of its art style. Capcom FG fans are especially bad about hating things because they're "too anime" because SF and Darkstalkers already have anime-influenced art styles.

They're too BLINDED by their fan loyalty to SEE the hypocrisy.
Thanks Lythy <3 You're the best. Always have been!

And yeah I got this. Tonight gonna work out the kinks and see how high quality of a stream I can get going. Should be great times! I expect it to be horrifying and hilarious, which is a pretty good combination~
Yeah, as you may or may not guess, I really never come here anymore. I got on here at work because I was bored and literally did like nothing. Checked out the UT thread to even see if it was a thing, and then messaged you... because that's what I always used to do when I logged on ^^

And haha no worries, we can be wusses together.

...i'll just be the one enduring the FEAR
It's been awhile, but it's nice we can still talk. I'm actually glad facebook has been around to keep in touch with you, and many friends from /dr/ days. Fond memories.

And that would be awesome! It should be a lot of fun <3

i'm a wuss, so... theres that.
