Ye Yeah JC upsmash works, although it's not always needed since you can upsmash out of a run automagically. And for DJC PKF some people say to use tap jump like normal, but I find that pretty awkward. I just hit Y twice very quickly and lightly. It took practice to not flub it up, but it works...
