I don't see anything unusual at :38. Pretty much just Side-B with no other directional inputs. He is in fact losing some altitude, but very slowly because he's not pressing up or down on the control stick.

After a while of the MU, I've found that Mario's D-Air is pretty free to shield grab. And Up-B OoS is lol. Anyone else feel that Pit does REALLY well against himself? It's kinda like Fox vs. Fox where Pit just has a super easy time against himself.

I wouldn't say Pit has no negative match ups; he struggles a lot vs Mewtwo, Mario and to an extent, Samus. Pit does pretty well against Zelda and even Pit himself, but he struggles against Mewtwo even more so than Fox does. Honestly, the only 3 characters a Fox main should fear are Mewtwo...

Bebop and Champloo are pretty good, Bebop being one of my favorites. Golden Boy is still my all time favorite anime because it was a perfect dub. Only 6 episodes tho =[

...what? I don't follow, but are you falling through the platform when you input Down-B? You're pressing down for too long probably, because you should be able to Down-B on a plat like normal lol

N-Air has a time and place, which is more than I can say for U-Tilt *smh* But yea, F-Airs are good, but the restrictive horizontal hitbox can cause problems. Other than that, F-Air does a lot of what newer Pit mains utilize N-Air for, but N-Air is useful for acting like a jab reset on platforms...

Late reply but I feel Mewtwo, Mario, and ZSS are Pit's worst MUs. Samus and Sheik are difficult as well, but not to the extent a good Mario or ZSS will. A quick one by one on why: vs. Mewtwo: Possibly Pit's worst MU in theory, but I have yet to run into a Mewtwo player as strong as Emukiller...

How bout that Mario D-Air tho? It eats through U-Smash, U-Tilt, and N-Air. The only thing I can do is do a REALLY early U-Air, cause if you shield, Mario can cross you up with Jabs/D-Smash/etc. At least Fireballs are free. Any suggestions, or nah
