Yeah, Smash Ultimate speculation has come to an end. Smash Next, though, is where we need to focus. VGA could bring some Halo x Nintendo news, which would be nice. But, with Xbox pushing Infinite right now, I'm not sure if we will see it or not. Maybe whatever the insiders heard back in the day...

While Chief was my most wanted, Sora was up there for me. Wow. Great looking trailer, gameplay vids, etc. The attention to detail to Sora is fantastic. I wish we would have gotten that for Chief, but still, what a great ending to the DLC cycle.

I grew up with Halo. Halo: CE was so breathtaking. Halo 2's multiplayer was top notch. Halo 3 was the best of both worlds. Halo: Reach's standalone narrative(and ODST prior to that) were great. Bungie just knew what they were doing. I don't think 343 is doing near as bad a job as other people...

Yeah, I saw that. Obviously they are still working together. I am curious about that deal. N64 won't be paid for, right? It's ports for the upgraded NSO service. So, what does MS get out of it? Super interesting...

When it comes to "knowing who it is when the trailer starts" I am on the same page as most of you. Samus, to me, would be a good indicator for Master Chief. But, it could also mean a newcomer from the upcoming Metroid game. Either way, Samus would be who I'm looking for. Well, and Mario...

I am hoping with you, Spartans. Chief in Smash was once laughable. Now, it feels like he is the missing all-star. Hoping for good things! But, even if not, we will get the hype train rolling for the next Smash. CHIEF FOR SMASH!

For sure, the pass has been tough to predict. But, I don't think anyone here seriously is going to be heartbroken to not get Chief. Most of us are just happy he is being seriously considered by the fandom. Who would have thought that would be possible??? But, the marketing materials we have...

I was a huge supporter of Geno, but yeah, I hate to say it, but I doubt he is happening. It isn't the same situation as Heihachi and Kazuya, since these are two different characters. So, yeah, not seeing Geno. That's how we get Mallow in. :4pacman:

Hmm... I honestly don't have that many first party wants anymore. The only two I would like to see are Dixie Kong and a Rival/Rocket Pokemon Trainer. Maybe I need to get involved in some of the smaller franchises.

So, changing the topic just a little bit, but I have been playing some Halo to get ready for Infinite. I'm trying to go through all of the games before it launches. Just finished Halo Wars yesterday. Those cut scenes are so good!

While I would like for the Mii costumes to come first during the final character presentation, this list really hurts. Chief... Doom Slayer, Crash, and Sora. But Chief hurts the most.

Yeah, it's kind of weird. I really thought E3 was the make/break point for Master Chief. But now, I'm not so sure. I think he has a solid shot. At this point, it feels like just about anyone has a good chance.

Yeah, I know Halo 3 was where it was most popular there. The rest have kinda just been whatever. I think Chief is big enough character, though, even for the Japan region.
