  • Aw :( Hopefully you can get outside soon to get some new stuff =) I get clothes that i actually want infrequently. My mom and sisters choose most of my stuff, since they think I'd go to school looking horrid if i chose it on my own. I like the colors black and white since they don't have those standout characteristics. I like to blend in when it comes to school.

That's fine, all of my friends find the noise really irritating. It wakes me up when i feel tired.

    Yep~ :D
    Don't say that >.< *Blushes*

Meh, my mom just limits me to fewer things of interest if my grades are expectational. She'd buy me something like clothes or school supplies. I guess she just likes pampering the family to make us feel special. I'm grateful for anything i get, tbh.

It's soooo fun to experience new frequencies :D It's what keeps me guessing. I get a headache after listening to so many, but it's always a blast, lol.
    Message 9000!~ :awesome:
What happened? :( Christmas spirit die down?

I'll probably try that, depending on what i can find in stock. If i find a Green or Red controller, good sheeeeeeee~

Good stuff :D I'll have to tell you tomorrow since it pisses my mom off when she hears the frequency test -.- Mhmm. It's incredible how underestimated the human ear is XD
Oh >__< You guys don't celebrate Christmas?

:D It's really easy to find at night because it glows on and off while on it's charging base. They have GC controllers, just not new/ very good looking ones. I'll look online and see what i can find. Unless you want to recommend something? =)

Sorry x.x It goes near the frequency break of a dog's range of hearing. Average humans past adolescence are supposed to be able to hear up to 20 kHz. I think i've gotten higher than that, but in the video, it went off for me at one point, then i was able to hear it again for a short period. 20,000 - 40,000 compressions hitting the ear every second. x.x
Hmmm. I may be mistaken. Late May to Mid or Late (Depending on when we got out), it's between 1 1/2 and 2. I don't really notice the short breaks, since they're normally a week a most. Teacher Workdays are also swell times to get the gist of all that's going on x.x

Lucky you :3 I never really wanted a phone until this January, when i didn't want to get the major phone plannings. I didn't ask for anything on Christmas day, but my mom bought me a new Wiimote that glows blue and is transparent :D If i use it, there was this Nunchuck that was of the same properties, that i was interested in buying. If i get a new GC controller, i'll have to order it online due to the scarcity of GC controllers at my local game store(s).
We rarely get snow days any more, it used to snow about once every 2-3 years. Now that the snows are becoming more frequent, the superintendent is trying to cut off snow day breaks unless the roads get bad. Even if we do get the days off, he finds some way to reduce our other breaks to fit proportion. D:

I actually enjoy our 2 month break. It doesn't keep me too far or too close to ending so that i can go back to see my friends and learn new things. I say this because i don't have a cell phone :( When i get to college, it's going to be sweeeeeet.
I think we might have more than that, lol. They're really really small, though, including holiday breaks.
Oh :. Hopefully your XP from MK has been good :D

Yeah, we get a Fall Break, which lasts about a week-week and a half. We have small little skips. You guys have slow motion steps, lol.
Oh, i don't know about that one, though :o Does Pound beat out Nado?

    But they're relatively short in comparison to others ;_;
Huh? You're talking about Jigglypuff? ._. *Is confused*

Oh :O If we have school out on a snow day, it's not for excitement. Right now, at least. They would try to tack off from our breaks D:
Falcon Kick's priority can go through MK's Tornado :D He also has lag on most of his moveset, so it's a task >.<

Unfortunately, we still had school :urg: Roads weren't bad enough.
I only like using him in fun MUs. I hate the Falcon ditto >.< It's understandable.

    SNOOOOOOW DAYYYYYY :D
Yeah, DLA is still one of the top Ganondorf players, lol. He goes MK in tourneys, so it's kind of making me think more Verm.
I'd use Ganondorf if Falcon wasn't so fun, though :O Wonder where i'd get with that.
It's the ultimate method of manly suicide :awesome: Unless you're trying to pull off that CV material and follow your opponent offstage if you have a stock lead. It's funny because it works. XD
That's fine, it's preferably debatable, but meh, i don't like Zelda much :(

It's kinda flopsy considering there's no known way to determine who dies first :urg: It's good if you hav a stock lead, or the tourney rules allow SDing moves to give the win to its initiator :D
Boomerang? Just hop up and grab the ledge again.
Arrows? Link will SD attempting that.
Bombs? If he wastes time pulling one out, he might as well just FF a Dair, especially if he doesn't have a second jump afterward. I'm not talking about high % offstage game, i'm talking about low % gimps that can completely screw over Link the second he goes offstage.
Oh, if this was supposed to be some kind of instance in your play, then i'm horribly sorry about bringing about this discussion, so i'll stop now :( Best i could say is ask in a Q&A or something. Both in that matter.

I do too :) He struggles when opponents are hanging on the ledge, though. They can just tech and knock him away further, or even spike him D:
Link can get gimped at any percent. And die. If you're offstage as Link, at any percent, you're pretty much dead if you're opponent knows what he's doing. With Zelda, you have a chance, taking damage at low%s isn't much compared to losing a stock at 12% or even lower. They both have very horrid recoveries. It's understandable.

His tether isn't good, and it provides less recovery than his Spin Attack. Just grab the ledge when he begins his Spin Attack animation and you're near guaranteed a stock. If he overdoes the ledge, grab him, toss him offstage, and repeat. If Link is given time to rack up damage to actually DI far enough upwards to live without using Spin Attack, that's another story.

Zelda's recovery gets worse at higher percents due to the punishability, and Link's gets worse when he's at low percents. Also, Spin Attack goes completely nowhere horizontally if Link is still has even slight momentum to the opposing direction.
If it trips, or they try to shield, i don't see why not. I don't think it's really all that safe, though. It's definitely spammable against characters with poor OoS.

From the Zeldas thay i've seen, it's not a bad recovery move. It's much better than Link or Ganon, because she can't get gimped by a fireball or something, due to it's distance. She's also pretty floaty in comparison to them both.
If you use your second jump immediately prior to using it, you get a small tap up and descend slower than using it while falling. It's kinda funny how all the bad recoveries come from The Legend of Zelda series. XD
You can't punish Link or Ganon? :[
That's pretty close to how i play, lol. I only like Dair for its trip rate and Rest setups XD

Zelda's recovery is decent. I don't find much flaw with it besides control, for me, at least.

Yup =) Woke up at 5:30 this morning to get online.
It is XD I like to spam Nair a lot :3

He's pretty hopeless offstage. Only person with a worse recovery is probably Link.

    Oh, and GOOD MORNING XD
By much, lol. Grab is useful at low %s, and Dash Attack is just if you're certain of ground chasing on bad DI. Fair to Fair is fun, though.

Unless you're opponent is Ganon. Lmfao.
I don't really think Fair can be followed up by much, so it's okay =)

I don't tend to go offstage a lot as Jigglypuff. Unless it's someone like Fox, but if i mess up, the punishment is unbearable D:
    True that :awesome:

It's alright, i don't hit with most of my Fairs :( I'm normally left with Bair or Nair. I conserve Fair too much, and i find myself KOing with it, easily :) I remember back in '09 when i used Jigglypuff against a Falco, i got him stuck under the stage with Fair, and i just kept repeatedly hitting him until it stage spiked XD Ledge-canceled Sing> Rest is lulzy.
Rest is frame 2, and it's near useless against a good player, haha. I only use her Dash Attack quickly when i'm trying to KO. It catches them off guard and ruins their DI, unless they see it coming, which is why i don't do it with a running start.

What? I really don't even know much Jigglypuff myself XD I just play it how i play Marth: Play to punish with what you think is effective. Too bad Jigglypuff has unreliable options on the ground :(
Nair has a hefty frame time. I don't think it was all that good at the lower %s, though. Her grab was also decent on time, in comparison to others. Jab is really quick. Near useless, but very quick.
She's pretty slow XD I like comboing heavies with Uair and aerial chases, though :3 I normally lose to the state Jigglypuff, but i somehow go even with him in Jigglypuff dittos. I really need to learn Jigglypuff MUs ._.
    That's fine =)

The sweetspot hitbox is in Luigi's head, apparently. They have to be in very close proximity for the sweetspot to land. Otherwise, you only give 1% damage and flinch the opponent. It's possible to hit with it in the air, but it's much weaker, and there isn't a "ping" sound. The aerial version isn't majorly used as an attack unless you're trying to gimp with the flinching.
It was defined in the same thread i learned my SDI, Momentum Cancel, and DI'ing. I can't say i kept tabs on it, since it's been almost a year since i've looked at it, haha. It's probably buried deep in the Brawl General Discussion or something.

6 Frames is a tenth of a second XD It's not instantaneous, but it's something, lol. It's still unsafe if it misses or gets shielded, though :urg:
I'm certain it's 20 Frames. 5 Frames sounds horrendously inaccurate. Where did you read that? XD Luigi's Up+B hitbox comes out on frame 6. Brawl's tech window is much larger than that.

Uair is best in either situation, i suppose.
20 Frames is decent, but when you're looking back at Melee's 40 Frame tech window, it's absurd. I think it gets a boost in Brawl+, though. I normally try not to tech the floor while in the tumble animation unless i'm trying to get away from a ground chase, and trying to retaliate would put me in a bad position.

ESAM used to use Fair all the time. One of my state friends uses Fair. What's the start-up and end frames on both of them? Link's Dair is his second best option (unless he's holding an item), on Momentum Canceling. It's start-up is very good (about 10 frames), but it's ending lag is horrid (he retracts it on about frame 45-50, unless you hit the ground).
Oh, it's agreeable in legitimacy, so have I =) It's kinda hard to tech along the floor for me, unless it's something like Wolf's Dthrow or Fox's Dsmash. Either way, i find it easier to quick tether. Teching is cool, though :O

It's comparable by frame time, since her uair ends earlier, allowing you to Skull Bash directly after momentum canceling. I find Fair more popularly used, sorry for my mistake. Hopefully you'll get back into practicing, though.
Well, since i know a lot of MUs for my characters, it's pretty easy to tell when i'm going to get hit. I've lived to 200%+ with Sonic, Falcon, and Snake. I've done the same with Ike, but it's hard to return to the stage without getting gimped by a good player :( Oh, i teched ZSS Dsmash > Bair stage spike on wifi yesterday. It was so funny that i SD'd immediately after recovering to the stage.

Just use your fastest aerial and DI in correspondence to the direction you're sent. Since you're a Pikachu, it'd be Fair. It takes a lot of time to adjust to, but just look for signs that you're about to take an attack that sends you in a tumbling animation. It could require prediction, keen eyes, hand-eye coordination, etc. I just do what fits appropriately, and it works, somehow. I DI'd MK's Dsmash at 180% and flew at about a 85 degree angle. I died off as a star, nonetheless, though :( Dsmash to goooood.
